TallyCut Privacy Policy

TallyCut is an iPhone app for multi-camera video synchronization, recording, and editing. We designed TallyCut so your projects and media stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Information TallyCut collects
TallyCut does not operate its own user account system, cloud sync service, analytics service, advertising network, or tracking system. We do not collect personal data on our own servers.
Data stored on your device
TallyCut may store the following data locally on your device:
- Project files, edit decisions, sync settings, and timeline information.
- Imported or recorded video and audio files.
- Thumbnails, waveforms, cached files, temporary files, and diagnostic files created by the app.
- Optional timecode, camera, and location metadata associated with recordings.
Project text data may be included in Apple device backups depending on your iCloud and device settings. Large media files, thumbnails, waveforms, caches, exports, and temporary files are marked by TallyCut to be excluded from iCloud backup where iOS supports that behavior.
Permissions
TallyCut asks for permissions only when needed for app features:
- Camera: to record or preview video.
- Microphone: to record or synchronize video audio.
- Photos: to import video media and save exports when you choose.
- Location: to add place information to videos you record, if you allow it.
You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Subscriptions and purchases
TallyCut subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. TallyCut uses Apple StoreKit to check subscription status. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may process purchase and subscription information according to Apple’s own privacy policy.
Exports and sharing
When you export a video, FCPXML file, project package, or other file, that exported content is controlled by you. If you share it with another app, service, or person, their privacy practices may apply.
Support requests
Support is handled through the public GitHub Issues page for this project. If you submit an issue, the text and files you choose to include may be publicly visible. Please avoid posting private videos, personal information, or sensitive project files in public issues.
Children’s privacy
TallyCut is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when TallyCut changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

TallyCut 收集哪些信息

TallyCut 可能在你的设备本地保存以下数据：

- 可选的时间码、相机信息和录制位置元数据。
工程文字数据可能会根据你的 iCloud 和设备备份设置进入 Apple 设备备份。大型媒体文件、缩略图、波形、缓存、导出文件和临时文件会由 TallyCut 标记为不参与 iCloud 备份，前提是 iOS 支持该行为。
权限用途
TallyCut 只会在功能需要时请求权限：
- 相机：用于录制或预览视频。
- 麦克风：用于录制或同步视频声音。
- 照片：用于导入视频素材，并在你选择时保存导出内容。
- 定位：在你允许时，为你录制的视频添加地点信息。
你可以随时在 iOS“设置”中修改这些权限。
订阅和购买
TallyCut 的订阅由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理。TallyCut 使用 Apple StoreKit 检查订阅状态。我们不会收到你的银行卡等付款信息。Apple 可能会按照其隐私政策处理购买和订阅信息。
导出和分享
当你导出视频、FCPXML、工程包或其他文件时，导出的内容由你控制。如果你把内容分享给其他 App、服务或个人，对方的隐私规则可能适用。
支持请求
支持通过本项目公开的 GitHub Issues 页面处理。如果你提交 Issue，你填写的文字和主动上传的文件可能会公开可见。请不要在公开 Issue 中上传私人视频、个人信息或敏感工程文件。
儿童隐私
TallyCut 并非面向儿童设计，也不会有意收集儿童个人信息。
政策更新
如果 TallyCut 的功能发生变化，我们可能会更新本政策。更新后的版本会发布在本页面，并标注新的“最后更新”日期。
